Job Title:  FAA - Minneapolis Tower Intern (MSP/M98)

Description:  Air traffic controllers coordinate the movement of air traffic to make certain that planes stay a safe distance apart as well as direct planes efficiently to minimize delays. The Federal Aviation Internship will help the intern learn more about air traffic control, other Federal Aviation Administration facilities and organizations that work with Minneapolis Air Traffic Control Tower. The Federal Aviation Administration internship program is a planned, self-directed and supervised learning situation in an on-the-job setting which enables the intern to gain work experience directly related to their academic field or major so that the intern can apply knowledge learned and gain new insights. The work schedule can be full-time or part-time, Monday through Friday between the hours of 7am-6pm. Work schedule is flexible. Positions open year-round. The position is unpaid. All transportation, food, and lodging costs are at the student's expense. Application process takes up to 3 months.
